The Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition is a prestigious music competition, hosted every two years by Mayfield Festival and Mayfield School, which provides a platform for outstanding young musicians (16-27) from all over the world. We’re looking for more people to get involved, so please spread the word.
Come and hear the Competition!
Put Friday 28 April to Monday 1 May 2028 in your diary: you can drop in for a few hours or join us for 4 days of amazing music. Bookings for the 2028 Competition will open from January 2028 at www.mayfieldfestival.co.uk.
Host a Competitor
Do you have the space to host a Competitor for a few nights during the Competition? Our hosts love the experience of connecting with these inspiring young musicians, and get free entry to all rounds of the Competition. Find out more by emailing us at hosts@twimc.org.uk.
Volunteers needed
We need volunteers to help for a few hours as stewards, receptionists or drivers during the Competition. Volunteers get free entry to the 1st round and semi-finals. Find out more by emailing Magda at stewards@twimc.org.uk or Clare at reception@twimc.org.uk.
Support us as a Friend or Patron:
The Competition is funded largely through voluntary donations and we are immensely grateful for the support of our Friends and Patrons. Find out more about the Friends and Patrons scheme or contact Mary Anderson at friends@twimc.org.uk.
