2024 TWIMC Winners

Final Results 2024

Thanks to everyone who made the 2024 Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition such a success.

This year we had almost 100 competitors in Round One and we introduced a change to the format of the Semi Finals and Finals. For the Semi Finals we had the usual eight competitors in each section, selected by the judges. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners from each section were awarded their certificates at a ceremony in the Concert Hall at the end of the day on Saturday. The Finals were a significant departure from previous events in that only the 1st prize winners from each section competed for the Overall Prize and the Audience Prize. A brilliant young pianist, Xu Peng, was awarded the Overall Prize, while an engaging violinist Yixuan Ren won the Audience Prize.

If you weren’t able to join us for the Finals, you can see recordings of the winning performances here.
